Regulate data centers: Brandy Tollefson will stand up to big tech and put regulations in place to protect Wisconsin communities and our environment from the impacts of data centers. He’ll require that data centers pay their full share in energy and water costs so Wisconsinites' utility bills aren’t subsidizing billion and trillion dollar corporations. He will require transparency and ban non-disclosure agreements that hide the impacts on local communities. He’ll make sure they’re powered by 100% cheap, fast, clean energy sources like wind and solar. We can trust Brandy Tollefson to stand up to greedy big tech, electric utilities, and data center developers to protect local Wisconsin communities..

Keep energy costs low: Electric bills are skyrocketing for Wisconsinites. We can keep our electric bills low by building more clean energy like wind and solar, which are cleaner, cheaper, and faster to build. Brandy Tollefson will stand up to greedy corporate electric utilities who want to maximize profit and jack up your electric bills by building more dirty, expensive gas power plants.

Ensure clean drinking water for all: You should be able to trust the water that comes out of your tap. But thousands of Wisconsinites deal with lead pipes, nitrate contamination from factory farm pollution, or toxic cancer-causing forever chemicals like PFAS in their drinking water. Brandy Tollefson will hold corporate polluters accountable so they pay for their actions, and will ensure that no matter where you live, every Wisconsinite has access to clean, safe drinking water.

Re-authorize the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program: Enjoying the outdoors is a way of life in Wisconsin. For nearly 40 years, the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program supported buying and maintaining public lands for all to enjoy. It’s funded 176 projects in Brown County alone, and more than 1,500 more projects in every corner of the state. Despite its success and popularity, the Republican-controlled legislature let the program die this year. Brandy Tollefson will revive this program and make sure our public lands have the resources needed so Wisconsinites can continue to enjoy them for generations to come.

Brandy Tollefson for State Assembly District 88

Brandy Tollefson is a working mom of three kids running for state assembly to be your voice in Madison. As the treasurer of the De Pere School Board, she knows first hand how elected officials with different backgrounds can come together to serve the interests of their community. She sees the impact of how partisan extremism and bad policies coming from the state are making it harder for municipalities to provide essential services like education to their community. She has also seen first hand how our healthcare system is failing. When her son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, she confronted expensive prescriptions, fights with insurance, and an unhelpful profit-driven system. As a mom, she knew that her only choice was to advocate for her son. As your state assembly representative, she will be your voice in a broken system and will use her leadership experience to make sure government is working for you.

As your state assembly representative, Brandy Tollefson will:

Vote David Crowley for Governor

Growing up, David Crowley didn’t have it easy. He experienced firsthand many of the same struggles Wisconsinites across the state face today. He knows what it’s like to work hard yet still have difficulty keeping up with the rising costs of housing, groceries, health care, and utility bills.

Those experiences shaped his approach to leadership. He started as a community organizer before being elected to the state Assembly to serve his community. At 33, he was elected county executive of Wisconsin’s largest county. Now in his second term as Milwaukee County executive, he continues to deliver real results for the people he represents. As a husband and father of three, he knows times are tough for so many. He’s running for governor so all Wisconsin families have what they need to not only survive, but to thrive.

As governor, David Crowley will:

  • Hold corporations accountable for polluting our land, air, and water, and ensure Wisconsin taxpayers aren’t subsidizing corporations and billionaires.

  • Regulate data centers to stand up to Big Tech, make them pay their full share of energy and water costs, and guarantee transparency regarding their impact our environment and communities.

  • Lower energy bills by standing up to utilities’ continuous rate hikes and transitioning to cleaner, cheaper energy sources.
