Growing up, David Crowley didn’t have it easy. He experienced firsthand many of the same struggles Wisconsinites across the state face today. He knows what it’s like to work hard yet still have difficulty keeping up with the rising costs of rent, groceries, health care, and utility bills.
Those experiences shaped his approach to leadership. He started as a community organizer and before being elected to the state Assembly to serve his community. At 33, he was elected county executive of Wisconsin’s largest county.Now in his second term as Milwaukee County executive, he continues to deliver real results for the people he represents. As a husband and father of three, he knows times are tough for so many. He’s running for governor so all Wisconsin families have what they need to not only survive, but to thrive.
As governor, David Crowley will:
Hold corporations accountable for polluting our land, air, and water, and ensure Wisconsin taxpayers aren’t subsidizing corporations and billionaires.
Regulate data centers to stand up to Big Tech, make them pay their full share of energy and water costs, and guarantee transparency regarding their impact our environment and communities.
Lower energy bills by standing up to continuous utilities rate hikes and transitioning to cleaner, cheaper energy sources.

Wisconsin can’t afford his Toxic Agenda
As a state legislator and now a congressman, career politician Tom Tiffany consistently chooses corporate polluters over Wisconsin families and futures.
Consider his record. Tom Tiffany’s priorities serve special interests, not the public:
Bought and paid for by mining companies. In the state legislature, Tiffany accepted money from mining corporations and introduced bills they authored. As governor, he would continue to do the bidding of out-of-state corporate interests and Wisconsinites foot the bill.
Voted for Trump’s ‘Big Ugly Bill’ that increased electric bills, killed clean energy jobs, gutted public lands funding, increased healthcare costs, and provided giveaways for corporate polluters and billionaires.
Authored bills to block local control. As Big Tech sets its sights on Wisconsin to build hyperscale data centers, local communities are fighting back for their rights. Wisconsin cannot trust Tiffany to stand up to corporate tech giants when he has a clear record and pattern of overriding local authority for the highest bidder.
